Downright overview
Downright is a native Markdown reader and editor for macOS. It renders with TextKit 2 instead of a WebView, watches files for changes made by coding agents and other tools, and shows what changed without losing your place.
It includes Quick Look previews, Finder thumbnails, themes, task lists, math, Mermaid diagrams, source editing, and a command-line tool. Files remain ordinary Markdown on disk. Downright is free, MIT licensed, works offline, requires no account, and collects no telemetry.
